Job Specific Location/Base: Block A, Floor 3, St Mary’s Community Health Campus

Hours per week: 22.5hrs/wk

We are looking for someone with previous administration experience who can work well as part of a team but also able to use their own initiative to work on specified tasks seeking guidance when needed. This position supports our new team of Clinical Associate Psychologists and will work alongside the Team Secretary.

You must be good with Microsoft packages, systems and IT and have good attention to detail. Knowledge of the NHS and Mental Health Services is desirable but not essential.

Solent’s Mental Health Services cover a variety of different services including inpatient facilities for both adults and older persons, community services including rehab, crisis and health and wellbeing, IAPT Talking Change and learning disabilities. Job Responsibilities

• Word processing of correspondence including letters, reports, forms, tables, agendas, minutes and presentation material using appropriate I.T. packages.

• Manage appointment/session bookings, managing waiting lists, discharge letters, updating electronic record system and sending appointment letters following Trust guidelines and targets

• To send letters and compose routine basic letters within sphere of responsibility.


Personal Skills/Qualities

  • Good typing/word processing skills
  • Good with Microsoft packages, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Attention to detal
  • Able to build good relationships with staff
