You will be working 37.5 hours a week at The Avalon Centre, a purpose-built neurological centre for men and women over the age of 18 years, who have an acquired brain injury.
With experience from the NHS and/or private sector, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, which will see you provide assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes of occupational treatments and programmes for people with neurological conditions.
Working with the wider transdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development of the occupational therapy service, which will see you carrying out service development projects.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will create individual rapports to design and deliver facilitated evidence-based group and individual programmes based on their needs and interest to ensure they engage in their treatment plans.
With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you’ll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of online and CPD training courses to support you reach your career goals.
