Job Specific Location/Base: St Marys Community Mental Health Campus

Hours per week: 30hrs

Solent NHS Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Advances Nurse Practitioner to join the Assessment to Intervention team (A2i). You must be a qualified & Registered Mental Health Nurse. This role will have a particular focus on working within the community and supporting the homeless population with mental ill health. You will be expected to spend time with the Homeless health care team and other organisation’s within this area of expertise as well as being an integrated member of the A2i team.

The successful applicant would be expected to work within a multidisciplinary team in order to assess patients and offer up to 6 months of treatment acting in a lead professional role. The role is to provide routine assessment and plan and deliver effective, Evidence-Based treatment in collaboration with service users, Carers and professionals from other established services. A strong emphasis is placed on recovery.

Assessment and risk assessment skills are required. Experience of working autonomously and within a team environment is also essential. This role will include supervision and line management of staff working within the same service line.
