1 x WTE Community OPMH Consultant, St Marys Hospital

Portsmouth Mental Health Services are recruiting for an enthusiastic Consultant to a newly configured post in the Community OPMH Services, with the main clinical role in OPMH intensive Case management team and other additional clinical roles supervising nurse led clinics, memory monitoring service and care home team service.

This is a full time 10PA community post to be worked over 9 to 5pm, Mon to Fri. This post also includes second on call out of hours commitment at 1:10 rota. The successful applicant will be based at St Marys Hospital Community Campus, in the heart of Portsmouth city along with two other full-time Consultant OPMH colleagues. Depending on the experience, the post attracts clinical supervisor role for GP trainee doctor.

St Marys hospital has weekly half a day teaching comprising ofcase conference, journal clubs, GP/FY doctor teaching as well as Balint groups. Newly appointed candidates will be invited to join these teaching activities as part of their CPD.
