Livewell Southwest: Return to Practice Employment Opportunity for Former Registered Nurses

 

Are you a nurse who is missing the challenges and rewards of nursing? Would you like to return to practice and re-join the NMC professional register?

 

If the answer is yes, you may wish to consider the following;

We are currently recruiting previously registered adult nurses who are looking to return to practice and to regain their professional registration within community nursing. If successful, you will be working with the South Hams community nurse team, where you will be supported and supervised by a practice supervisor and practice assessor in order to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council requirements for re-registration.

 

Within this exciting post, you will be supported to complete a Return to Practice programme at the University of Plymouth. You will have study leave to attend university as required and you will be supported in practice to achieve your practice learning outcomes. During this time, you will be expected to complete a minimum of 450 clinical hours and commit to attending 8 study days. Livewell Southwest will cover the course fee and employ you as a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant £20,330per annum, pro-rata for the duration of your training.  On the successful completion of the course, you will become a band 5 registered nurse within your allocated team.

 

NB: (You must be a de-registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council register to apply for this post).

 

The module/programme dates are commencing 16 February, 2, 16, 30 March, 13, 27 April and 4, 18 May 2022. On completion of the training, you will be required to work for Livewell Southwest for a minimum of two years.
