gtd heathcare are currently looking to recruit a Salaried GP to be based at our small and friendly Smithy Surgery in the rural area of Hollingworth within Tameside & Glossop CCG.

This long established practice has a list size of approximately 4,400 patients, a high standard of achieving QOF and a good CQC rating to ensure patient care is delivered to the highest standard.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated GP to join our team for Friday AM half day session. However, a portfolio role across our services may also be of interest.

The practice is located in the foothills of the Pennines, just 5 minutes drive from the end of the M67 at Hattersley and works collaboratively with Hyde Primary Care Network. Our friendly and supportive team is comprised of one full time and two part time salaried GPS, Two Advanced Nurse Practitioners a practice Pharmacist, practice Nurse, HCA and a supportive admin and management team.

Our appointments are all 15 minutes with a mixed model of Telephone, Video and face to face. Our clinical system is EMIS web, we also use Docman 10 and accuRx. Experience in these systems is desirable but not essential.

The practice closes every 3rd Thursday afternoon for essential training held by Tameside & Glossop CCG. GPs are also entitled to 5 days study leave per year pro rata.

Our practices atgtd healthcareare keen to hear from newly qualified GP’s and can offer Tier 2 visa support for those qualified GP’s from overseas subject to relevant checks.

Sessional rates are based on 4 hours 10 minutes at a salary between £9538-£10,100 per session.
