Designed with patient wellbeing forefront of mind, it will house two new 24-bed general surgery wards and a state-of-the-art emergency theatre within the current theatre unit. The development will allow The Royal Oldham to operate as the hub site for high risk and emergency general and colorectal surgery for the north-east of Greater Manchester.
