Are you looking for the next step in your career?

We are looking for a Radiographer to join our dedicated radiology team here in the vibrant University town of Aberystwyth.

Bronglais General Hospital provides a quality healthcare service to the population of mid west Wales, including our local university student population and the many tourists that visit this beautiful area throughout the year.

Applications from suitably motivated and experienced Diagnostic Radiographers, including Band 5's with over 18 months post qualification NHS experience, are welcome.

The Radiology department has 3 general rooms, a multi slice(64) CT scanner, a Mammography unit, 4 ultrasound rooms, Dexa scanner, digital fluoroscopy screening unit and state of the art MRI scanner.

Applicants will possess BSc / DCR(R) in Diagnostic Radiography, HCPC registration plus appropriate NHS diagnostic imaging experience.

The department is committed to role development and extension and provides opportunities for multi modality training and post graduate study including Ultrasound, Plain film, CT and MRI Radiographer reporting.

There is an effective in house CPD and multi modality training programme and the Health Board has strong links with the Welsh Schools of Radiography.

We have a very attractive on-call system that provide remuneration and rest time (participation in this would be mandatory once training and induction has been completed).

The successful applicant will be based at Bronglais General Hospital but will be expected to be flexible in their approach to the needs of the service and may be required to work at other sites within the Health Board.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Previous applicants need not apply.
