The Child & Family service line are recruiting a Project Manager for an 18 month fixed term contract. The role will be part of an evolving strategy to develop a CAMHS Training Academy in order to train and support the development of clinical roles within the CAMHS function. The CAMHS Training Academy is designed to support the service in broadening its pool of potential recruits by offering training, clinical rotations and clear progression gateways.

The role will provide project management skills to support the development and implementation of the CAMHS Academy which may include business development projects, service mobilisations, processes to prepare for and deliver procurement activity, business planning and contract review programmes and work in support of the local system integration agenda.

The successful post holder will demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, responsiveness and enthusiasm and will be able to rapidly move between and re-prioritise pieces of work as business demands necessitate. In addition, they will be highly organised, demonstrate a high level of initiative and resilience and will have proven experience of applying project management practices, tools, and techniques. This will be supported by excellent communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to engage, and assure different stakeholder groups, often in highly pressured environments effectively and confidently. In addition, excellent analytical skills and experience of providing and receiving complex information to drive pro-active decision-making is required. Attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality written reports and persuasive proposals are essential.
