Health Records Clerical Officer

AfC Band 2 – Permanent - 37.5 hours PW

Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Health Records eHR Officer to join the QMH Health Records Team on a permanent basis. Whilst mainly located at Queen Mary's hospital, some working at Darent Valley maybe required.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of Scanning Bureau functions and be familiar with the various aspects of Prepping, Scanning, QA, QC and issue logging/resolving. General knowledge of Health Records functions will be an advantage as flexibility in the role is required.

Key areas of responsibility will be

  • Participating in all day-to-day scanning and scanning preparation duties.
  • Meeting deadlines and targets for scanning outputs
  • Perform QA and QC checks
  • Assist with other Health Records department functions when required, e.g. to cover sickness absence

The ideal candidate will have a passion for contributing to providing high quality, innovative modern Health Records services. They will aid the development of the eHR Scanning service, striving to improve quality in line with Trust, NHS Digital and legislative requirements.
