In addition to transplantation, Royal Papworth Hospital has the UK’s largest Respiratory Support and Sleep Centre (RSSC) and is one of five UK centres providing Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) to patients experiencing severe respiratory failure. It is also the only centre in the UK for a number of specialist services including Pulmonary Endarterectomy and Balloon Pulmonary Angioplasty (BPA).

Papworth Hospital is an internationally renowned centre offering specialist care for patients with cardio-respiratory conditions.  Our focus is providing the highest standard of care.

 We are looking to appoint an experienced, efficient and enthusiastic individual to establish and implement robust systems for the operational leadership, governance, management, strategic planning and development of the new HLRI Clinical Research Facility and will provide research leadership to staff working in and users of the Facility.

 The post holder will have responsibility for managing all clinical research studies conducted within area of responsibility, ensuring that studies are run to the highest standards incorporating Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.

 The post-holder will be responsible for writing annual and other ad hoc reports, collecting study and activity metrics in accordance with NIHR Clinical Research Facility award contract.

 As a member of the senior research and development team, the CRF Operations Manager will contribute to the delivery of the Trust research agenda working in partnership with senior CRF & R&D nursing leadership where required to ensure research is conducted to time and target.

 The post-holder will be responsible for the CRF Facility within the HLRI including department maintenance, equipment and facilities staff and will coordinate and manage new projects

The hours of this work are envisaged to be between Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm. Job share will be considered. If you are ready for the challenge then come and join our team!
