We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated individual to work within our Trust’s Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration System (ePMA) training team to help test and maintain the system and to provide user training via on line audio/visual tutorials and face to face floor walking. We would be particularly pleased to receive applications from individuals with either a nursing or pharmacy background.

You will be supported in this role by the ePMA Nurse Facilitator and System Lead Pharmacist, as well as other senior pharmacists and technicians in the Pharmacy department. You will be primarily responsible for system administration tasks, such as user creation and monitoring, data collection and assisting the team with evaluating system upgrades. You will be encouraged to take active direction in setting out ways of delivering effective training via on line training videos or face to face, available to a multitude of Trust staff.

You will work closely with the small team of hospital and community staff to administer the ePMA system throughout the Trust, ensuring all staff are trained in the use of the system prior to gaining access details. The post holder will be expected to spend the majority of their time in Trust sites across the South of Hampshire and there will be an expectation to travel to all sites as needed. Good communication skills and a patient nature is important. During upgrades to the system on wards, there will also be an expectation that the post holder will work flexible hours (early starts and late finishes) to support users.
