Our Children's Therapy Team are looking for an innovative and pro-active Children's Physiotherapist who would like to develop their clinical skills in this rewarding and fun role.

You will be working in an integrated children’s therapy service which consists of Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, therapy assistants and administration staff. As part of a multi-disciplinary and multiagency team, you will provide services for children with developmental delay, neurological and neuromuscular pathologies. You will gain experience across various settings; particularly in special and mainstream schools, community clinics and home visits.

We are an innovative service and run discipline specific training days across Solent to share best practice and clinical expertise.

You would need to have good organisational and communication skills, problem solving skills and be able to quickly gain a good rapport with people from a range of backgrounds. Collaborative working with a range of professionals is an important part of this post. It is essential you can work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be expected to work across the locality of SW Hampshire including the Winchester area.

Our service runs Monday to Friday so you will not have to work weekends or evenings, and we will provide all the training you need to feel confident to specialise in this brilliant and rewarding role in Paediatrics.

The essential qualities we are looking for in our Physiotherapy applicants are:

  • BSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • HCPC Registration
  • Car driver/owner
