TheHill is looking for a Clinical Analyst & Events Co-ordinator to support the clinical engagement manager to assist innovation adopters and staff members within OUH NHS FT, across a wide range of clinical and operational areas to improve clinical services for patients. Activities include assist in the delivery of Digital Innovation Ambassadors programme, organising workshops and 1:1 interviews to determine and analysis frontline needs, supporting and identifying digital skills development, to feeding promising ideas and individuals into the innovation pipeline process, and fostering a culture of digital innovation within the Trust.

 

The success of this role will be measured by the organisation and level of engagement of digital innovation ambassadors and clinicians in our programmes and digital innovation projects & the reports produced from specific event series such as workshops and meet the clinician events.

 

The successful candidate will need to be able to manage several workstreams at once, an ability to analyse and produce written reports on key information received from a wide variety of sources and stakeholders, organise and manage internal and public facing events.

The ideal candidate will have experience engaging with stakeholders to produce written reports to enable strategic decision making & events or workshop organisation/management.  Workshop/events facilitation skills and experience of working within the NHS or clinical setting would be beneficial but is not required.

 

The successful candidate will be able to work adaptably in a small team as part of a larger organisation, forging strong relationships with colleagues, able to take and give feedback helpfully, and willing to be flexible in their approach to achieve team goals.

 

The role is a temporary placement starting ASAP until 30th March 2023. You will be based at the Osler Lodge at the John Radcliffe Hospital (Headley Way, Headington, Oxford OX3 9DU).

 

The working pattern is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with some flexibility.

This is a Band 5 role paying £14.21 p/h.

Responsibilities include:

Communication and Relationship Management (35% of role)

To collect, analyse and utilise data and other information to assist innovation adopters and staff members within OUH NHS FT

To present complex data in various forms to suit the audience, including written reports and at internal meetings

Support the clinical engagement manager in the strategic mapping of clinical and non-clinical engagement across OUH

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders, both internal and external to enable a systematic review of clinical needs, evidence and cost-effectiveness of digital innovation technology solution

Contribute to developing an evaluative framework for key objectives linked to current and future programmes, workshops and events.

Support colleagues in fostering a culture of digital innovation with the Trust

To maintain accurate and up to date electronic records as required by TheHill

Work collaboratively with the Clinical Engagement Manager to enable TheHill to be effective in our pursuit to promote and encourage commercial and impactful technological solutions to problems in health and care. 

To provide supportive data to assist with the preparation of business case and funding applications for the programmes plus selected individual participant projects when deemed appropriate

To keep abreast of current and future trends within digital innovation.

 

Events Co-ordination (35% of role)

 

To co-ordinate the administration of clinical engagement workshops and 1:1 interviews on behalf of the Clinical engagement manager such as ‘meet the clinician’.

Ensure all arrangements for events are appropriate, ensuring the smooth running of

events by liaising with the venue, speakers, etc as required

Coordinate and collate feedback from attendees for events hosted, as directed.

Produce evaluation reports for events and outputs of workshops to contribute to our thought leadership portfolio;

To lead on the administration and delivery of online/virtual events

Collate invitations received by TheHill to participate in events and liaise with appropriate staff to agree level of TheHill’s contribution

 

Digital Innovation Ambassadors Programme (30% of role)

To assist in the planning and delivery of the Digital Innovation Ambassadors engagement / training programme.

Contribute to developing core role activities and to support the development framework and programme for the digital innovation ambassadors.

Co-ordinate quarterly Digital Ambassador newsletter

 

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Awareness of digital innovation in healthcare.
  • Experience of planning and managing events
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of using a CRM system to maintain accurate electronic records
  • Experience of using Microsoft teams and Zoom
  • Experience of producing & distributing surveys following events.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Team player with a positive attitude
