We have an excellent opportunity within the Exeter South and West cluster. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated band 6 Physiotherapist.

You will be part of a friendly and experienced multi-disciplinary team providing patient-centred care in patients’ homes, nursing and residential homes. We provide support and rehabilitation to patients with a wide range of conditions - acute, musculoskeletal, falls, orthopaedic, neurological, palliative, complex co-morbidities and long term conditions. We work with people in their own home or carehome setting to support them in achieving their full potential.

Community experience is desirable. The post holder should be motivated and be able to work autonomously, without direct supervision as well as part of a team, and lone working at times in a community setting. You will need excellent communication skills as well as adaptability & resilience to change.

The team consists of Physios, Occupational therapists, rehabilitation nurse and rehabilitation support workers. There is a structured in service training programme and support and supervision from a physiotherapy clinical lead. You will be expected to provide supervision, training and support to peers, junior staff and students.

This role will be predominantly based within the community rehab team. However, it will also support the Community Urgent response team at times of need. The successful candidate is also expected to support a 7 day service, as part of a weekend rota.

The South & West cluster covers the areas of Broadclyst, Pinhoe, Topsham, Exminster, Alphington, St Thomas and Starcross

The post holder will have; a Degree in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration.
