Hartlepool and Stockton Health is pleased to advertise on behalf of one of our shareholder practices, Norton Medical Practice, for the post of Reception Manager:

We are a 10 Partner Practice caring for 17,400 patients seeking a confident, strong, motivated and caring Reception Manager to head our Reception Team. This key role holds the responsibility for the smooth running of Reception to include management of staff within the team. This post requires efficiency in the administration of all related processes, e.g. managing appointments, tasks, eConsultations, greeting and signposting patients. The post holder has a major impact in promoting the positive image of the Practice to patients and other visitors and will need to pay particular attention to the needs of a multi-cultural and diverse population.

Our ideal candidate will have a cheerful disposition, previous Medical Reception and supervisory experience and a working knowledge of SystmOne, although training will be provided for the right candidate.

The position holder will be extremely thorough and understand the importance of appropriate accurate data recording and able to manage a team with efficiency and fairness. The position holder will need to be able to handle queries from patients, liaise with other healthcare providers and our community pharmacy colleagues. We are therefore seeking an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is comfortable supervising staff.
