We are looking for polite, positive and enthusiastic people with a proven admin background to join our Admin Bank working on an as and when basis within the Administration teams that support clinical provision.

We need people who have an ability to take direction, prioritise work and multi-task. We need good secretaries and administrators who are keen to work as active team members within our well-structured Administration teams. You will need to have had previous experience of working in an office environment and be able to communicate and liaise with a range of people. The ability to develop, establish and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external personnel is required with the ability to adjust your communication style and content appropriate to the audience.

Alongside a helpful telephone manner successful applicants will have the ability to undertake general office/administrative duties including typing, scanning, photocopying and reception management. It would be ideal if you have previous experience in supporting meetings and audio dictation. You will be robustly supported by the Admin Team Leads and Admin Managers with ‘on the job’ training being set up to enable you to work as a useful member of the admin team.

You must be reliable, self-motivated and have a positive attitude and a commitment to team working. It is essential that applicants are customer focused, efficient, flexible, adaptable and able to demonstrate a tactful and diplomatic approach.

Successful applicants will be instrumental in ensuring a positive service user experience treating service users, visitors, families/carers and colleagues with respect and courtesy whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.

In order to be successful in securing interview then applicants must meet the person specification.

To meet the person specification you will have a sound educational background with:

  1. 1. GCSE level A to C (or equivalent) in English Language
  2. 2. GCSE level A to C (or equivalent) in Mathematics
  3. 3. Minimum qualification of RSA II, OCR 2 or Keyskills Typing/WP standard (or equivalent).
