Specialty Doctor in Oral Surgery

 

Applications are invited for a 4 programmed activity (PA) post as Specialty Doctor in Oral Surgery at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, required to work on Mondays and Fridays.

The department provides a full range of Oral Surgery and benefits from excellent clinical facilities supported by modern technical and imaging facilities (including Cone Beam CT), in a brand new outpatient unit that opened in August 2019. You will be part of a small team led by a team of consultants delivering high quality clinical care in an exciting, busy environment. Apart from providing direct clinical care, a contribution to the supervision of dental core trainees will be required.

 

To apply, you must be fully registered with the GDC. We are seeking to appoint to the Specialty Doctor grade as a one-year fixed term post. We have scope to make this permanent following an end of the year review.

For part time roles you will receive a pro rata'd (proportional) salary payment based on the appropriate pay step/point and hours worked in accordance with AfC and all medical and dental terms and conditions.

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust operate a 24 hour 365 day a year service and all nursing, clinical and operational roles will require staff to work 24/7 shifts (if required) unless you are specifically advised otherwise as part of the recruitment process.
