We are excited to announce our Angio Suite Department is looking for a Band 5 experienced Nurse to join our friendly, supportive and motivated team of Cardiac Cath lab Nurses, Physiologists, Radiographers and Cardiologists.

Our Team is passionate about providing outstanding diagnostic, invasive and interventional Cardiology service to our patients. In our modern and spacious department, we care both elective and in patients undergoing various Cardiac diagnostic, invasive and interventional procedures.

The Department offers a structured Educational Programme, supported by designated Practice Development Nurse and a dynamic team of Senior Sisters who will support you in developing your knowledge and skills. Along with hospital based educational opportunities, the Hospital is affiliated with Brighton University and University of Surrey.

We are a fast paced busy unit with two Cardiac Cath Labs and a day ward with 10 beds recovery area.As a band 5 Staff nurse, you will be actively supported to advance your skills, gain expertise and confidence in all aspects of care given in the area of interventional cardiology and to enjoy the challenge of managing a busy Angio Suite department.

The Angio Suite and Cardiac Cath Lab Service is staffed as a specialist area within the Cardiology Department, it works closely alongside the cardiology elective services and is collaboratively linked with our cardiology inpatient services. This in turn provides possibilities of rotation and flexible working across the Cath lab , Angio Suite Day Ward and Cardiology inpatient wards Meadvale and CCU , thus enhancing opportunities for skills and competencies development and advancing your management experience and knowledge within Cardiology.

As a department currently we are providing Monday to Friday service from 8am to 6pm, unit shift patterns will exclude night, weekend and bank holiday working.
