An opportunity has arisen to work in the Catering Department at East Surrey Hospital.

We are looking for enthusiastic motivated team players with a flexible approach to work and excellent customer service.

Hours: BETWEEN 07.00-20.00

Contract: Substantive 37.5hours per week

Grade: BAND 2

This role is based in the Catering Department at East Surrey Hospital. We have a busy Restaurant, catering for staff & visitors to the hospital, and feed over 750 patients a day.

This role is Employed cover, shifts are Monday-Sunday, 7.5 hour shifts, 5 days a week, working some weekends . Shifts can start from 7.00 and the latest finishing at 20.00, a flexible approach is vital for this position..

The role can involve various duties of serving customers, patients, visitors, staff and working in the main kitchen, restaurant, stores or menu clerk. This role is a varied position, full training will be given.

Duties include cleaning, dishwashing, food preparation, stock replenishment, on occasion food counter service, collating patient meal numbers, working in menu clerk.

You will be required to comply with food safety policies, procedures and current legislation, so previous catering experience would be an advantage, but not essential, as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will need to ensure they give a high quality; professional service to staff and visitors at all times.
