Part-time Health Visitor vacancy 0.8 WTE within Cheshire East [Macclesfield]

Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust has been selected by Cheshire East Local Authority Commissioners as their chosen preferred provider for the Cheshire East 0-19+ Service Integrated Children’s Division

An exciting opportunity has arisen for qualified Health Visitors to join the North team covering Macclesfield within Cheshire East which covers Macclesfield Wilmslow Knutsford and Poynton. This part-time position will be based in the Macclesfield 0-19+ team. Whether you are newly qualified and are looking to gain confidence and experience or an experienced Health Visitor we would welcome your application.

We work collaboratively with other agencies and work in partnership with communities to deliver the Healthy child programme. The right candidate will hold the SCPHN qualification in Health Visiting and be an innovative team player who is looking forward to a new challenge.

The post requires good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable, and approachable. You will need to have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

You will work as part of an integrated 0-19+ Team and will be required to support the full delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and be responsible for managing a caseload of universal partnership and partnership plus families.

You will also be involved in a range of public health activities within a geographical area, to include individuals, groups, and communities. As a key stakeholder in the protection of children, you will be required to work collaboratively with other agencies to meet their needs.
