We are recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager within Collaborative Newcastle, to work across the City’s anchor organisations on a new and exciting programme to maximise our collective resources and aim to end rough sleeping in Newcastle. You will be responsible and accountable for the operational delivery of this project the aim of which is to reduce and end rough sleeping in our city.

Newcastle is fortunate to have over 800 dedicated spaces for people who are homeless and a range of support services, people do not sleep rough in our city because of a simple lack of accommodation. What we need is someone to bring all of our resources together to work collaboratively.

You will have the necessary skills and experience to bring services together and hold accountable a number of different stakeholders in a multidisciplinary approach that integrates homelessness, housing, health, social care and voluntary sector services for people who sleep rough. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop the associated infrastructure (e.g assessment, case management, review and governance arrangements) to create sustainable improved outcomes for Newcastle residents and neighbourhoods.

We are looking for someone who will contribute to Collaborative Newcastle’s aim to improve the city’s use of information and develop proactive and preventive responses that improve residents’ lives through providing personalised services and look to reduce demand on crisis services.

The successful candidate will be excited about the opportunities to reconfigure our collective services and systems to make a measurable difference to our most excluded residents. You will need a proven track record of working effectively and delivering improvement and innovation in a multi-agency environment.

Excellent communication skills are essential with the ability to influence and build positive working relationship to ensure sustainable change is embedded at every level.

Full time 37 hours 30 minutes/week
