Valens Medical Partnership is the largest family doctor-led GP Practice in the North East, looking after the healthcare needs of around 50,000 patients across Northumberland.

Our surgeries are in Ashington, Cramlington, Lynemouth, Morpeth, Newbiggin, Pegswood, Seaton Deleval and Seaton Sluice. You will have a main base and must also be able to travel to work at any of our surgeries if required.

Part-time or full-time hours are available working up to 37 hours per week. You must be able to work shifts between 8am – 8pm, over 7 days per week, in line with our current business needs to support evening, weekend and bank holiday working and vaccination clinics

Your duties will include:

  • Handling inbound calls and directing patients to the most appropriate pathway
  • Data input and general administration tasks to support our clinical team
  • Making outbound calls
  • Booking appointments
  • Front of house reception
  • Providing support during vaccination clinics

You will possess a confident and sympathetic nature when dealing with the public, excellent customer care, communication and IT skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous experience of customer service, call handling and / or office administration is essential.
