IEUC Call Assessor

Salary: Band 3 £20,330 - £21,177 gross per annum (dependent upon experience) plus any unsocial hours enhancements relevant to the post as per the NHS Terms & Conditions (pro rata for part time hours)

 

Hours: Full & Part Time hours available working full rotational shifts (including, evenings, weekends, nights & bank holidays)

(minimum 22.5 hours per week for part time based on 3 x 8 hour shifts)

 

**All applicants will be required to attend a full time (37.5 hours per week) training course for the first 5 weeks of their employment – Training is completed on a pass or fail basis**

 

Base: Tollgate, Staffordshire, ST16 3HS

 

Our award winning, high performing ambulance service is looking for of IEUC (Integrated Emergency & Urgent Care) Call Assessors for our control room in Staffordshire.

 

Applicants will be the first point of contact for anyone making an urgent or emergency call. You will be responsible for the receipt and processing of incoming and outgoing urgent & emergency, doctors’ urgent removals and general enquiry calls from the general public, medical staff, emergency services and other professional bodies who require an emergency ambulance, advice or information.

 

You must hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English (or equivalent) along with customer service experience.

 

Applicants must be able to commit to 5 weeks full time training at the start of their employment which is completed on a pass or fail basis.

This position involves a regulated activity which will require an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check. The disclosure will, where appropriate to the role, include information against the Independent Safeguarding Authority barred lists for working with children, adults or both.
