The Birches Medical Centre (M25 2GN): seeking salaried GP for 6 sessions per week

The Birches Medical Centre prides itself on its reputation for excellent, family-focused patient care and having a forward-thinking, hard-working and supportive team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Salaried GP to contribute to clinical care and our ongoing development. You would be welcomed into a caring team serving a close-knit community.

The practice is a 5 minute drive out of Prestwich Village, based in a relatively leafy area with a rural feel about it. Prestwich has its own link into the Metrolink tram service, making the City Centre and other parts of Greater Manchester and beyond easily accessible. It is only 5-10 minutes' drive to motorway links including the M62, M66. The M6 is only a short drive from the practice.

The practice consists a converted public sector one-storey building with on-site parking. There is a diverse patient population of around 4,000 currently. The current Clinical System in use is Vision (InPS) however this will be moving to EMIS Web in early 2022 as part of a CCG-wide shift to the new system provider.

The practice offers comprehensive general medical services either directly or through local commissioning arrangements to the local population. Please see role description for further information regarding services.

The role:

Salaried GP post - 6 sessions per week (preferred but negotiable)
Supported training and clinical supervision
Part of BARDOC's family of practices
