The Private Patient and Overseas Visitor (PP & OSV) Manager is a newly created role to support the Lead Accountant Financial Services in building a high performing PP & OSV function.

Key focus of the role will be to:

  • Manage the Private Patient and Overseas Visitors services within the Trust, ensuring that the Trust meets its duties in these areas.
  • To ensure the Trust has efficient and effective policies and procedures in place to collect all income due from private patients and overseas visitors.
  • To act as the designated person to oversee the implementation of the Overseas Charging Regulations.
  • Support budget holders in delivering or exceeding their income budgets in relation to PP & OSV by ensuring the National charging regime is correctly reflected in UHL's policies, support development of services, develop price tariff(s) and standard costing/pricing template, ensure precise invoicing and ensure adequate funding is in place before procedures are undertaken.
