Following investment in the prosthetic services in Wales, a post has become available for a full time Band 4 Prosthetic Technician at the NHS prosthetic service based in Rookwood Hospital, Cardiff. The prosthetic team currently consists of 8 clinical and 11 technical staff offering a clinical service to a large and varied caseload supported by a full multidisciplinary team. The post holder will be involved in the manufacture and ongoing repair of prosthetic devices, using a wide variety of materials and manufacturing techniques with full training and support offered on site by the vastly experienced technical team.

The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and busy team, and be supported with local training to develop their skills to support the service.
