Recruitment Advisor (HR Resourcing)

Agenda for Change - Band 4 -Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Recruitment Advisor to join our Resourcing Team.

The Resourcing Team provides an efficient, accurate and customer focused recruitment service to the Trust, supporting in the engagement of staff through temporary staffing, substantive employment, and international recruitment specialist teams. You will need to be customer orientated and be a committed individual who enjoys providing a first-class service to managers and candidates alike.

Within this role in the substantive recruitment team, you will be dealing with all requirements for your allocated Divisional care group, working closely and developing relationships with your recruiting managers to provide advice, guidance, and administrative support for the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle. Whether it’s taking part in a regular meeting to update progress on specific roles or contributing in a working group to deliver a specific recruitment campaign; you’ll be the appointed contact for the division and be able to provide that assurance around all recruitment and associated issues.

We are passionate about providing an exceptional candidate experience, and so you’ll be focussed on ensuring that their engagement and excitement about the opportunity is high from initial application right through to their first day in post. You’ll support our HR Administrators to ensure pre-employment checks are completed in a timely and efficient manner and to maintain accurate and up to date employment records in line with NHS Standards.

This is a busy environment and the ability to be comfortable amidst changing priorities is required. You will be part of a supportive team, working together to ensure the delivery of a robust and reliable recruitment service. The workload is varied and therefore your ability to make decisions and prioritise your own work with minimal supervision is essential. We are able to offer a hybrid working model with a mix of home working / days in the office on site at St Mary’s Hospital.

You will have experience of working in a busy environment, preferably with a recruitment or HR background. You must be competent in a variety of IT packages such as Microsoft Office. The ability to provide excellent customer service and attention to detail is also paramount.

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 2nd November 2021. Alongside the competency-based interview, shortlisted candidates will be required to prepare and deliver a short presentation on how they will build and maintain relationships with their key stakeholders.
