Receptionist, Outpatients (ES), Band 2

Outpatient services are growing and there has never been a better time to join our team. We are searching for a person who is reliable, passionate and dedicated about providing excellent customer service and patient care with the enthusiasm and drive to help in the Trusts’ quest to take the busy outpatient services at East Surrey hospital forward into the future.

You must have excellent administrative/IT/keyboard and communication skills and the ability and flexibility to adapt to different situations as they arise. You will be part of a fast-paced Reception team delivering a high quality patient experience to the residents of Surrey and Sussex. Ideally you will already have experience working in a busy customer service/medically based environment.

Typical shift pattern incorporates 08:00-18:00/10:00-20:00 4 days a week (Mon-Sat) with one off-rota day.

For part time roles you will receive a pro rata'd (proportional) salary payment based on the appropriate pay step/point and hours worked in accordance with AfC and all medical and dental terms and conditions.

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust operate a 24 hour 365 day a year service and all nursing, clinical and operational roles will require staff to work 24/7 shifts (if required) unless you are specifically advised otherwise as part of the recruitment process.
