An exciting opportunity has become available for a specialist Community Physiotherapist to join the North West Surrey Community Rehabilitation Team – a rehabilitation service to the adult community in North West Surrey through remote consultations, outpatient clinics and domiciliary visits.

The successful candidate will have extensive generalist rehabilitation experience at a senior level in working with adults within the NHS in a community setting. In addition it is expected that they will have physiotherapy experience in a variety of settings including working in an acute hospital and in different clinical areas including, older people, orthopaedics, surgery and acute medicine.

This role demands excellent clinical knowledge and application of advanced skills to deliver high quality intervention in patients’ homes and other settings as the successful candidate will be expected to hold a considerable clinical caseload and be responsible for the clinical supervision and development of junior staff and students. Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, advanced communication skills, a resilience to change and the ability to be flexible are essential attributes required for this role. An ability to work autonomously and as a lone worker is also essential.

There will be several opportunities to work together with other team leads and team members and contribute to service developments, innovations and audit within the generic rehabilitation pathway whilst building on links with both internal and external organisations and stakeholders e.g. Specialist Practitioners, Acute Hospital teams.

There is an established appraisal process and CPD opportunities, which provides opportunity to further develop your clinical and leadership skills to progress your career.

A car for business use and a clean driving licence are required for the community aspects.
