East Midlands Congenital Heart Centre (EMCHC) Theatres at the LRI are looking for a Deputy Team Leader!

We are seeking a professional, dynamic and motivated Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with the appropriate skills and experience to join our team. You will be working within a busy Theatre team which delivers all aspects of peri-operative care for the EMCHC Theatre.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate that they have high level organisational skills including time management, and the ability to confidently prioritise and organise clinical and managerial responsibilities . They will also be expected to participate in the effective clinical leadership and management of the team; and be committed to delivering a high quality service to ensure patient care, safety and experience is the best it can be.

We also offer leadership and development courses, learning beyond registration degree modules, and have cultural ambassadors to ensure equal opportunity for all to develop in their careers. Additionally as part of ITAPS clinical management group, we are proud to have developed the band 6/7 development courses; which give all participants the skills and knowledge to develop their careers above that of band 6 if they wish to do so.
