Are you looking to make a real difference to patients whilst developing your career?

We are recruiting Band 5 staff nurses within the community team at Spelthorne Community Nursing Team. This is an excellent place to start your career in community nursing. The role of the Community Staff Nurse will be caring for complex patients in their home environments, care homes and within a clinic setting.

The skills required for Community Nursing include complex wound management, palliative care and end of life care, medicines management, IV drug administration as well as having a high standard of holistic assessment and care planning skills. Training is available within the Trust for the successful applicant. The post includes weekends and bank holidays.

The staff works closely with members of the wider multi-disciplinary teams including local Hospices, Complex Care Nurses, Health and Social Care Coordinators, Specialist Nurses and Therapist colleagues.
