The Bristol North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) CCG have a membership of 80 GP practices, which serve a population of a million people. At Healthier Together - the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care System (ICS) - we are on a mission to become truly ‘insights-driven’ in everything we do. Nowhere is this more important currently than in urgent and emergency care, where increasing demand and constrained capacity - including as a result of the pandemic - is impacting on patient care and experience. We need to think differently, both about the way we communicate our services and the options available to ensure people get the right care for their needs, first time.

This system role is a critical one, and will work across multiple teams to design a segmented and integrated campaign programme for urgent and emergency care in BNSSG, underpinned by behavioural change evidence, citizen insight and business intelligence data. The post-holder should be comfortable interpreting a range of data sources and managing complexity. The role will incorporate a mix of approaches including campaign development, insights, communications and marketing – and the post-holder will need to demonstrate strong levels of judgement and critical thinking ability.

The post-holder will work collaboratively as part of the system-wide strategic communications group and with colleagues including the CCG’s Head of Insights, to ensure that all our plans are driven by insight, equalities data and citizen experience; and that we are co-producing materials with our diverse communities as well as tailoring campaign collateral for a diverse range of audiences.

This is a 6 month Fixed Term Post. You will need to demonstrate a strong interest in the health and care policy landscape locally and nationally, and an ability to build trusted relationships.
