You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, working to provide an efficient portering service to ensure the smooth running of the Imaging department at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Working in different areas of the radiology department including the recently new A&E department you will help to assist in keeping the patient journey through the imaging department as efficient as possible.

Successful candidates must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and be adaptable to the work required. Good communication skills are essential. Candidates will need to be able to manage the physical demands of this role including transferring patients to and from the imaging department on chairs, beds, trolleys and assisting with manual handling of patients. Cross site working may be required.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference.

Full time and part time hours will be considered on a fixed term 6 month contract.
