CMHT is undergoing significant expansion and as such, we are in taking account of current service redesign looking at increasing our community admin capacity”

 

We require an Admin Team Lead to join the Administration Team within the CMHT service. We are very proud of what our team has achieved so far, and we feel that this is in part, due to the qualities of each team member and how each individual fits together to form our very effective team. You must value team working and be able to engage with people at all levels to be successful in this post.

 

The post-holder will also have responsibility for supervising some of the administration staff based within the admin team. The post-holder will provide diary management support to the Medics team within area of service.

 

The post-holder will also be expected to undertake all aspects of admin support including minutes of meetings, typing of various documents etc and supervision of admin staff. The post-holder will the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with individuals at all levels. You will need to be able to time manage effectively and have the ability to prioritise your own workload. You will be working as part of a team but will need to be able to work on your own initiative. Part of this role will be to interact with our service users, clinicians and outside agencies, so you will need to establish an understanding of Mental Health, and be able to show empathy and understanding at all times.

 

Due to the nature of this post, the post holder should have a high level of tact and diplomacy and strict adherence to the rules of confidentiality in this sensitive area of work is a requirement. Word processing skills to RSA III standard or equivalent are essential, together with the along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Audio skills are also desirable. In addition you should possess excellent communication skills, have a flexible approach to change and challenges, and a sound educational background. Supervisory experience is desirable.

 

We will offer the successful candidate a training and support tailored to their individual needs. This will involve general mental health training and specific administration training. We will ensure that as part of your development within this role, that you receive supervision as NAViGO policy.

 

All positions are subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and medical clearance. Evidence of valid professional registration and appropriate DBS clearances will also be required where relevant. All posts will also be subject to successful completion of a 12 week probationary period.

 

Please note that all new employees joining NAViGO will be able to contribute to the NHS pension.
