An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice within  Anaesthetics department. This role will support  the Junior Doctor Administrator who manages Anaesthetic Junior Medics Workforce. Our Commitment to you is to help you gain a level 2 apprenticeship in Business Administration within a 16 month contract. As part of the apprentice programme you will learn in the workplace and have off the job training.

Your primary duties will be to  provide clerical and administrative support to the Junior Doctor Administrator. You will also provide an effective and efficient administration support service including reception, records and preparation of medical documents.

The suitable candidate will facilitate the continuous provision of high quality administrative support to the Junior Doctor Administrator whilst developing effective working relationships.

 We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team. You will be required to work as part of a team so must be adaptable, flexible,  able to work well under pressure, have good communication skills and demonstrate effective learning when working within the team.

 The ideal candidate must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office programmes including Word, Excel and Outlook. This role will enable you to learn and develop your skills and gain experience in a non-clinical role within a health care setting. 

 To qualify for the apprenticeship role the minimum criteria is:

  • that you must have GCSE in English and Maths
  • have not completed an apprenticeship at the same level and sector in the past
  • do not have a Degree in a similar or same subject
