About the Role

As Office Administrator, you will provide a comprehensive and professional administrative support service including organisation of meetings, managing the ordering of stationary; managing the daily post into and out of the office and receiving incoming phone calls and directing them to the relevant people in an appropriate and timely manner.

The role will also include supporting with internal and external communications, and will take a lead of managing CHoC’s social media accounts, staff newsletters and website management.

The successful candidate will also be involved in the organisation of events and the Charity of the Year programme, as well as staff recognition schemes. As an integral member of the CHoC Head Office function the post holder will also support the Rota, Social Enterprise and the Wellbeing teams.

About You

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to remain calm in a busy environment.

You will have the ability to organise and prioritise work along with an understanding of and commitment to patient confidentiality. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment for instance using up to date knowledge of the social media landscape to boost our online presence

The role is advertised as a full time, however we are happy to consider part time hours. The post holder will cover the late shift on a Friday on a 1 in 5 week basis; basic rota function knowledge would be advantageous although full training will be given.
