We are looking for Registered Nurses that have an interest in developing their career within this specialty, individuals who are passionate about providing a high standard of care to their patients. You should be highly patient focused, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic, keen to learn new skills and have a passion to work within the cancer care setting.

We have opportunities in both oncology and haematology inpatient and daycase settings that being the chemotherapy suite, Ward 39, Ward 40 and Ward 41

The posts offer excellent opportunities for the candidate with on-going self-development, supervision, coaching and access to an extensive education program enabling you to progress in your career leading to many exciting opportunities both in management or specialist nursing.

University Hospitals of Leicester now hosts the Radiotherapy Delivery Network for the East Midlands.

It is one of the busiest Cancer centres in the UK caring for approximately 1 million population

You will play a key role in ensuring patients, carers, clinical staff and the wider community have the necessary education and training in order to care for and manage Oncology and Haematology patient’s effectively.

You will be an effective role model and be involved in helping to develop all aspects of the ward including provision of policies and procedures. Improvements to the patients’ environment, delivering high quality clinical care and staff development.

Only registered nurses with an NMC UK registration will be considered for these posts
