We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, motivated individuals who ideally have some Pharmacy experience, at least 4 GCSEs including Maths, English and Science at Grade C/4 or above or equivalent. Please also see personal specification.

The successful candidate must have good organisational and interpersonal skills, be a team player, able to work individually knowing their own limitations, who is comfortable working within a large department and able to demonstrate that they are committed to a career in Pharmacy. The 2 year post will involve rotating into Dispensary, Stores & Procurement, Community Pharmacy and Ward based working.

At the end of the 2 year contract the student will be expected to have attained:

Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice

A considerable amount of additional study will be required in the student’s own time. The successful candidate must have good time management both in work and out of work due to the pressure of undertaking the qualification and being in full time employment. A learning contract must be adhered to at all times.

This post requires participation in the late night, weekend and Bank Holiday rota.

This is a 2 year fixed term contract – starting 21st February 2022
Salary: Year 1 – 70% top of Band 4
Year 2 – 75% Top of Band 4
