We have an opportunity to join our Respiratory Specialist Nursing team with a vacancy for Band 6 Cystic Fibrosis Specialist Nurse

As a Specialist nurse you will care for children within inpatient and outpatient settings and also support their management at home. You will provide practical advice and support for children and their families, and have the opportunity to further develop your own knowledge and skills in this specialist area. You will contribute to existing practices such as multi-disciplinary clinics, transitional care and education programme’s.

All Specialist Nurses work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for children with Chronic conditions. You will need excellent communication skills to enable you to effectively engage in face to face consultations as well as telephone advice for both families and professionals. You will have vision to further develop services to improve the care children and young people within the respiratory team.

If you are a Registered Children’s Nurse, have 2 year experience in Paediatrics and wish to develop your skills in a specialist area don’t miss this opportunity. You need to demonstrate experience in supporting families and the ability to work independently, taking ownership and responsibility for your work.
