A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a nurse to join our friendly team on the Kinmonth Unit. We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic. You will be joining a team that strives to provide the best care possible to our patients.

Specialist surgery provides an exciting nursing challenge and we can promise you a varied and in depth role which will give you an opportunity to broaden and advance your expertise in a busy but supportive environment.

The Kinmonth unit is a 14 bedded unit that delivers specialist care to plastic and reconstructive surgery patients and head and neck cancer patients. The unit also provides specialist care to patients with altered airways.

You will regularly take charge of the unit once established within the team. As an effective passionate nurse you will work closely with the band 6’s and ward sister to ensure that standards are maintained, evaluated and where necessary improved.

Knowledge in specialist surgery would be an advantage but full training and support would be given so not essential. You must be flexible, possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be passionate and creative in your work.
