Community nursing is rapidly evolving to meet the growing numbers of patients receiving care in their own homes or community settings, so now is a good time to consider joining us and being part of something special. The preceptorship period is the beginning of your journey from novice to expert and is intended to support you to grow in confidence and competence throughout your first 12-month period as a qualified healthcare professional. During your Preceptorship with us you will:

  • Complete a portfolio of activities

  • Attend a minimum of 4 out of 6 preceptee development sessions

  • Have regular meeting with your preceptor
