Calling all Registered Band 4 Nursing Associates to join our dedicated respiratory team to deliver high quality patient centred care!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 4 Registered Nursing Associates to join our 2 respiratory wards at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Here on wards 4 & 7, we provide specialist respiratory services to our diverse patient group requiring respiratory expertise. Our respiratory wards are busy environments providing great learning opportunities in acute respiratory care. We support the acute pathway receiving patients from the Emergency Department and the Acute Medical Unit, we also support patients following step down from the Critical Care Unit. Our 12 bedded Specialist Respiratory Unit is currently being set up with robust staffing plans in place.

The nursing team work closely with colleagues from other disciplines to promote an efficient cohesive service. On wards 4 & 7, you will be given the opportunity to develop acute care skills, such as non-invasive ventilation and tracheostomy care. We can offer you an innovative and exciting career supported by experienced team members, with good staffing levels and skill mix. You will be supported with a structured orientation program from our dedicated team to further develop your confidence, skills and competencies in patient care. Successful candidates will work as part of the team providing clinical support to the wards, ensuring quality care and patient safety whilst working in line with the Trust values and policies.
