Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Clinical Group, part of Guy's and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trustare looking for an enthusiastic Consultant in Critical Care Medicine based at the Royal Brompton Hospital, although the successful applicant may be required to work in other locations in the Trust.

This is a full time Consultant post in Critical Care Medicine to be based at Royal Brompton Hospital. There may be a requirement to undertake outpatient clinics on the Royal Brompton Hospital site. The post holder will join the existing Critical Care team and will report to the Heart Divisional Director.

Applicants are expected to participate in, and contribute to, the proper functioning and efficient running of Critical Care Medicine delivery flexibly across our AICU/EICU Level 2/3 facilities.

Applicants are expected toparticipate in the on-call rotas, including critical care, extracorporeal support (including ECMO) and patient retrieval, and to ensure that the provision of these are efficient and consistent with the needs of the service.

In addition, candidates should hold or be within 6 months of CCT/CCST in Intensive Care Medicine, Anaesthetics or equivalent and specialist GMC registration and recognised by FFICM/EDIC or equivalent.
