We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a highly motivated and suitably experienced practitioner to join our Specialist Ear, Nose and Throat team as a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner. This role provides a modern workforce strategy and new pathway for Non-medical practitioners that will enable us to meet the current and future challenges and demands of the service. The successful candidate will develop high level critical thinking and decision making skills, and work towards performing at an advanced level. The post holder will act as an expert clinical resource, facilitate pathways and formulate a suitable plan of care for the patient seen on the ward, in clinic or via an emergency referral pathway.

This role will develop over time in response to changes in service delivery and we are therefore looking for a practitioner who is energetic, eager to develop and forward thinking with the potential to adapt to change and meet new challenges. In return we will provide dedicated time for academic study during training and the successful candidate will be expected to manage their time wisely to gain the experience and knowledge to carry out this role.
