£25,655 - £31,534 per annum

All successfully appointed staff will be assigned to the nearest base to their home location within the SCW Estate unless there is a justifiable business case for basing staff at another site (e.g. customer site). SCW staff that are in posts considered to be agile will not be expected to attend office space for general working but will be required on occasions to attend face to face meetings and collaborative working sessions that may require travel to their home base or other locations across the estate or customer sites.

We are looking for a full time, IT Trainers to work within the NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit’s Informatics IT Training team. This role is based in the Bristol/Somerset area and has become available due to internal promotion within the team.

SCW are proud to provide IT training services for around 11% (approx. 850) of GP practices in England.

The post holder will provide NHS applications and GP clinical systems training to GP practices in the predominantly in the Bristol and Somerset area. You will be responsible for facilitating practices to use clinical systems to support their business processes. You will play a key role in delivering an agreed training service and demonstrating value to the customer through provision of a professional training service.

The post holder will have knowledge and experience of teaching and training adults, design of training resources, of EMIS clinical systems and MS Office suite, and is responsible for responding to queries from customers and providing information.

The role holder will be based in SCW IT Services offices in Bristol or Somerset. The role holder will work closely with IT Services teams and some travel will also be required throughout Bristol and Somerset customer areas to deliver customers and senior stakeholders training requirements.

Being a self-motivated team player, with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, you will possess experience and expertise in training gained within a large scale organisation, ideally within the NHS or healthcare sector.
