An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Enhanced Care Team within Hull University Teaching Hospitals. We are looking to recruit 5 individuals who work well under pressure and are flexible in their approach to caring for patients with complex communication and care needs.

The Team supports children and adults requiring additional support for issues such as dementia, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health concerns. The 1:1 support delivered by the team is vital in ensuring high quality care during times of distress.

Successful candidates will complement the existing team of staff to provide high quality 1 to 1 care for patients requiring extra support during their period of admission. Supported by the ECT Matron and Site Management team, the Enhanced Care Team are be expected to work throughout the Trust following allocation on a shift basis.

Previous caring experience is essential and current or previous nursing experience within the Trust would be a desirable. All new starters will be supported with a tailored programme of induction including shadowing with the existing team and a bespoke training package.

Interview Date – 13th October 2021

If successful at interview candidates, the anticipated start date will be the 10th January 2022.
