Are you motivated and enthusiastic about joining our neonatal team that will move to Grange University Hospital when open?

We have a positions available for registered nurses (adult or Paediatric trained) and midwives.

No previous experience required as full training will be provided.

During your induction you will work supernumerary with someone supporting you, while working through an education pathway.

We have a purpose built unit consisting of 8 ITU cots, 10 HDU cots and 12 SC cots.

The nursing establishment for the Service complies with the All Wales Neonatal standards regarding staffing which is 1:1 nursing for ITU babies, 1:2 for HDU babies and 1:4 for SC babies.

We have a dedicated team of Neonatal Nurses, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Consultants and Practice Development Team. As part of the All Wales Neonatal Network Transport Service, we care not only for babies and their families born in our Health Board but from the whole of Wales. We also have a dedicated Neonatal Outreach Service.

We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated Band 5 nurses with a flexible approach to work who are able to work the full nursing rota. This includes 12 hour shift patterns of days, nights and weekends.

- An induction period with a dedicated education pathway. You will be fully supported during this time by the practice development team.
- Access to neonatal modules to become Qualified in Specialty.
- paid annual leave, statutory maternity and sick pay (subject to qualifying criteria)
- Occupational Health & Staff Well Being Service.

Registered midwives will be expected to uphold their intention to practice in their own time.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
