There is a vacancy for a Trauma and Orthopaedic Practitioner to join our motivated and busy Plaster Team at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, Wales. You will be working alongside the Trauma and Orthopaedic team of consultants in this busy department.

We provide a Monday to Friday service for adults and children following their admission to either the Emergency Department or the Minor Injuries Unit. We also provide a Plaster service to our inpatient Trauma Wards . The role would also include providing advice and support to the Emergency Department and Operating Theatres. The clinic at Princess of Wales coordinate a mixture of Fracture and Orthopaedic during the week.

You may be either a Registered Nurse or an experienced Plaster Technician but you must have experience or be working towards a current Plastering Qualification recognised and approved by the British Orthopaedic Association.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
