On 1st February 2021 the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals became part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust – a truly once-in a generation development. Hourley pay rates Band 5 £21.07 to £39.86 Band 6 £23.78 to £44.99 Per Hour.

The Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Provides care for over 150,000 Outpatients and Inpatients each year, Performing over 3,000 Angiograms/Cardiac Catheterisations, 1,800 Thoracic Surgery Operations, 2,400 Coronary Angioplasties, 2,000 Treatments for Respiratory failure and 1,200 Heart Bypass operations.

Located in zone 1 the Royal Brompton Hospital offers conveniently located site with excellent transport links to all over the capital and with the famous Kings road only 5 minutes away post shift food and entertainment options make the Royal Brompton Hospital the place to be.

The Royal Brompton hospital provides a comprehensive range of specialist Heart and Lung health care, ranging from Cardiac and Thoracic surgery Respiratory Medicine to Minimal Invasive surgery, from embryo to Young adult Peadiatric care, Private Patients Unit and a State-of-the-art Imaging Centre (due to open December 2021).

With more than 1000 nursing staff at Royal Brompton Hospital, 5 operating theatres, 5 catheter laboratories and a combined High Dependency Unit/ ITU , as a Hospital we are the leading UK provider of respiratory care and are national leaders in the specialist areas of Paediatric Cardiorespiratory care, Congenital Heart Disease and Cystic Fibrosis.

What we are looking for:

  • NMC Registered Nurses.
  • Excellent Communication, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work within a Multidisciplinary Team/Organization.
  • Willingness to participate in continuing professional development.
  • Flexibility in Shift Patterns ranging from Earlies to Long Days and Nights.
  • Looking for regular work/ad hoc shifts.
